I am currently a freelance journalist based in Portland, Oregon, I previously worked as a news reporter at The La Grande Observer in Northeast Oregon. I have also freelanced for the Portland Tribune, Portland's second largest newspaper, and at Willamette Week, Portland's preeminent alternative weekly newspaper.

In May 2016, I won a National SPJ Mark of Excellence for the best General News Reporting for an article about Ithaca College RAs protesting racial aggression.

After the 2016 election, I worked with 7 journalists from the Ithaca College community to produce a three-part series on the failings of the U.S. election system in 2016.

In 2018, I completed a year-long investigation into a suspected arson that occurred in 1967 at Cornell University.
